The National Weather Service reported that the beginning of September brings an end to the state’s meteorological summer, which came in as the 10th warmest and 25th driest on record. The average high temperature in June, July and August was 90.3 degrees, the weather service reported Monday, with an average low temperature of 64.9 degrees.
