HEBER CITY — Shots were fired during a robbery at a state liquor store in Heber City Sunday evening, police say.

At 6:30 p.m., an alarm went off at the liquor store, 262 E. Gateway Dr., said Heber City Police Lt. Jeremy Nelson. When officers arrived, they saw broken glass and were able to detain two people suspected of breaking into the store.

Police set up a perimeter around the area to look for other potential suspects, he said.

Investigators do not believe anyone was injured, Nelson said.

Police asked people to avoid 1200 South from Mill Road to Main Street while they investigated.

Anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the robbery is asked to call 911.
