SOUTH SALT LAKE — One person was killed and another arrested in a crash in South Salt Lake early Wednesday afternoon.
The two-vehicle crash at 2700 S. 300 West involved a driver who was under the influence, police said.
Wilonja Lusungu, 46, of Salt Lake City, was taken to the hospital in critical condition and discharged later in the day. Lusungu was then booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The other driver, a woman, died from her injuries. Her name has not been released.
