A 25-foot tall Minion stands guard in Ammon Smith’s yard on 900 East near 1500 South in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Over the years, Smith has created some unforgettable Halloween displays, transforming his yard into Area 51, a pirate ship, a dragon’s lair and “Jurassic Park.” This year, Smith made the Minion out of wood sticks, chicken wire, painter’s plastic sprayed with latex paint, plastic foam and a few bicycle tire rims.
