A skier slams into the ground during an airborne skill practice at Alta Ski Area in Little Cottonwood Canyon on Monday. According to the Utah Ski Report, the resort, which is set to open Nov. 21, received 19 inches of snow overnight Sunday. KSL’s Grant Weyman said Monday that the Wasatch Front will see the possibility of more snow showers Tuesday, with temperatures near 40. The rest of the week will see high temperatures in the 40s.
