SOUTH SALT LAKE — One man was injured in a shooting in South Salt Lake early Tuesday.

Just after 2:30 a.m. police received multiple 911 calls about a shooting at the Mountain Shadows apartment complex, 3895 S. 700 West. Callers reported that an argument between two men ended in gunfire, according to South Salt Lake police.

One man was driven to a hospital before emergency crews arrived. He was last reported to be in serious condition and undergoing surgery, according to police.

“The shooting appears to be isolated and targeted,” police said in a statement.

No one had been arrested as of Tuesday morning. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 801-840-4000, or send an anonymous message to 274-637 (CRIMES).
