ROY — Police were looking for suspects Wednesday in an early morning shooting in Roy.
Just after 4:30 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot once in the abdomen at an apartment complex at 1958 W. 4800 South. The man was taken to a local hospital for surgery but his condition was not believed to be life-threatening, according to Roy police.
Investigators say four people in a silver vehicle may be connected to the incident. But the victim has given detectives very little information, according to police. Investigators believe this was a targeted shooting and the general public is not in danger.
