WEST POINT — A 15-year-old girl was injured when the man she was selling pills to tried to drive away while she was still partially in the car, police say.

Ocean True Christiansen, 19, of West Point, was arrested early Monday for investigation of careless driving and reckless endangerment.

Police and paramedics were called to the area of 3850 W. 1450 North in West Point on a report of an unconscious 15-year-old girl. They discovered the girl had been dragged “by a vehicle causing extreme injuries to her feet and deep lacerations to her right arm and leg,” according to a police affidavit.

The girl was selling Xanax to Christensen “when he tried to take the pills without paying. The 15-year-old victim was inside the vehicle when Ocean drove away dragging her with the vehicle. The victim eventually fell out and was run over by the vehicle,” the affidavit states.
