WEST VALLEY CITY — A man died Saturday night after a crash in West Valley City, police said.
The crash occurred about 10:30 p.m. when a driver traveling south at a “high rate of speed” and passing in and out of traffic pulled in front of another car too quickly, hitting its front bumper at 2500 South and Redwood Road, said West Valley Police Sgt. John Pittman.
The car that had pulled in front of the other vehicle spun out and hit a tree, Pittman said. The driver was ejected and died on scene.
