Children’s librarian Lauren Tolman, dressed as a Hufflepuff from “Harry Potter,” delivers a bag of books to a customer outside of the Springville Library in Springville on Wednesday. Even though the library is closed do to the coronavirus outbreak, librarians at the facility are still hard at work. Each day they gather and sanitize each book that has been requested for checkout, then bundle them and deliver them to patrons curbside while in costume. They even throw in coloring pages, mazes, word searches and stickers with the requests to help keep children busy. Books that are returned are “quarantined” for a few days before being returned to the shelves.
