Travis Normin (aka Santa Travis) thanks firefighters at Fire Station No. 51 in Layton as organizers of the Sounds of Freedom Festival delivered Little Caesars Pizza to the first responders on Friday. Festival organizers dropped off pizzas at the Davis County Sheriff’s Office, the Farmington Fire Department, and the Layton and Clearfield fire departments. Although the Sounds of Freedom Festival was canceled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, organizers said they still wanted to find a way to thank the community. Organizers picked up a total of 100 pizzas to deliver to first responders, dropping them off via a restored 1939 fire truck, according to a news release. The Sounds of Freedom Festival, which has been a staple in Davis County for 18 years, honors the military and first responders.
