Photos: Dignitaries break ground on Bountiful Veterans Park

Officials and community members gather at a groundbreaking ceremony for the Bountiful Veterans Park in Bountiful on Tuesday. The park, which has been in the works for four years, will be located at 100 East and 900 South, directly north of City Hall. The park will include a granite wall honoring veterans of the Bountiful, West Bountiful, Centerville, Woods Cross and North Salt Lake communities, as well as a 7-foot bronze statue titled “Columbia,” the female personification of the United States.
