PLEASANT GROVE — The Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control closed a liquor store in Pleasant Grove on Thursday after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The store at 671 S. Pleasant Grove Blvd. was sanitized and disinfected and will reopen Friday, according to DABC spokesman Terry Wood. All employees were given a clean bill of health by the Utah County Health Department and will return to work, he said.

Two state liquor stores in Salt Lake City closed earlier this month for sanitizing after an employee who worked at both locations tested positive for the virus. The stores have since reopened.
