ROY — Police here arrested a man Tuesday who allegedly shot at a car while the mother of his child, the child and another 14-year-old were still in it.
Trevor Martin, 36, was arrested for investigation of aggravated assault and domestic violence in the presence of a child.
Last Tuesday, police were called to the area of 2600 West and 4450 South in Roy on a report of shots fired, according to a police affidavit.
Police found a Dodge Journey with several bullet holes in the hood, the affidavit states.
A juvenile inside the woman’s car told police that the woman was being followed by Martin, so she stopped her car to confront him, according to the affidavit.
“The two began arguing and the victim got back in the vehicle. When she did this, Trevor was said to have begun shooting the hood of the vehicle several times,” the affidavit states.
