SOUTH SALT LAKE — A woman’s body was found in the Jordan River Friday afternoon, and police are asking for help in their investigation.

Police were called about 1:15 p.m. Friday, and they arrived with fire officials at 3148 S. 1100 West to find a woman’s lifeless body in the river. They recovered the body, and an autopsy is scheduled for Saturday to determine the cause of death, officials said in a press release.

South Salt Lake police are asking anyone who may have seen something or who may know the woman to reach out to them at 801-840-4000 or 801-412-3600.
