The Social Security Administrationrecently released its list of most popular baby names across the country and in each state, and so we thought we’d share Utah’s most popular names.
- Utah’s names fit a more traditional mold, without too many controversial or surprising names jumping out.
- The data is strictly from Social Security card application data.
- Here’s the breakdown by boys and girls:
Most popular baby names in Utah
These names didn’t make the top 10, but they were standouts among the top 100 for sure. Here’s a look.
13. Grayson (Allen?)
(Note: “David” isn’t a highlight in itself, but it’s funny how those two matched up)
What’s most interesting about these lists is that they don’t feature the common Utah name stereotype of including an extra “g” or “i” or “e” in the name.
