Algae can be seen along the shores of the Rainbow Bay area of Deer Creek Reservoir near Wallsburg, Wasatch County, on Monday. The Wasatch County Health Department has issued a warning advisory for harmful algae at Deer Creek Reservoir after test results on a sample from Rainbow Bay came back with toxin levels above healthy thresholds. The reservoir remains open for recreation, but people are advised to not swim or water ski in areas that have the blooms.
