SALT LAKE CITY — Police have released the name of a woman who was killed after being ejected from her vehicle and plummeting 30 feet off the freeway.

Maikel A. Enoch, 24, of Salt Lake City, was driving a Mercedes SUV on I-15 at 500 South on Wednesday and merging onto the ramp to go west on I-80 when she lost control of her vehicle, which rolled twice, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

“The female driver was ejected from the SUV’s sun roof and came to rest after falling roughly 30 feet from the raised freeway structure. She later died from injuries sustained in the crash and subsequent fall,” the UHP stated.

Three other people in the vehicle, including two children in car seats, suffered only minor injuries.

According to a GoFundMe page, Enoch is survived by her 2-year-old daughter, London, and her son, Kajai, who will turn 1 on Saturday.

“She enjoyed being a mother to her babies and being around family. Her smile and laugh brightened the room and the day,” the fundraising page stated.

Friends and family members also mourned Enoch’s loss on social media.

“Not a moment goes by tears don’t flow for you,” one person posted on Facebook. “I’m on bended knees for another power up of strength from my God as I go through this battle.”

“Can’t believe this!! Ima gonna miss you so so much Maikel!!! I love you girl!! & thank you for being a real one & All the beautiful memories we got to share together. Rest in heaven beautiful! Fly high babygirl!” another woman posted.
