South Salt Lake police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Saturday near 2250 South and 500 East.

SOUTH SALT LAKE — One man is dead following what police are investigating as a homicide.

The victim, reportedly in his mid-20s, was killed sometime around 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, near 2250 South and 500 East. Police said no suspects have been identified or located.

No other details have been released about the killing.

The South Salt Lake Mobile Incident Command Center was called in to help with the ongoing investigation, South Salt Lake police reported on Facebook. The scene was cleared and roads reopened around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call 801-840-4000.
