A Park City athlete and mother of seven with an ambitious goal got a bit of encouragement from Utah Gov. Spencer Cox on Thursday.
During a special ceremony in the Gold Room of the Capitol in Salt Lake City, Cox congratulated Jenn Drummond for her example, tenacity and determination to set a goal to become the first woman ever to climb and summit the so-called “second seven,” the second-highest mountains on each of the world’s seven continents.
“Your story is so inspirational at a time when we need a little good news and inspiration,” Cox said.
