The grinch got an early start on the holiday season by robbing a clerk at Christmas Cottage in the Valley Fair Mall of $300 in cash Tuesday shortly after 6:30.

Police reported a man about 19 brandished a small revolver then fled the store on foot with the cash in a brown paper bag.The robber is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall with slender build. He was wearing a Levi's jacket, jeans with holes, and a dark T-shirt with "Iron Maiden" printed on it.
