Actress Lisa Bonet, whose pregnancy forced her to take a hiatus from "The Cosby Show" and her own spinoff series, gave birth Thursday to a daughter, a family spokesman said.

Bonet, married to rock musician Lenny Kravitz, delivered her baby at 2 a.m. at the couple's Venice home with the help of two midwives, said Stephen E. Smith, who is Kra-vitz's manager. The 7-pound, 2-ounce infant was named Zoe Kravitz. "Both mom and baby are well and resting comfortably," Smith said.

The couple was married in Las Vegas on Nov. 16, 1987, Bonet's 21st birthday.

Kravitz, 23, has recently completed recording an album that he produced independently.

Before kicking off her own series, "A Different World," Bonet played Denise Huxtable, a fashionably punk teenage daughter to Cosby, on his wildly popular show.
