Defense attorney Kev in Sullivan said his client will not change a guilty plea in a rape to which another man has confessed.

Cary Hartmann, 39, a former Og den reserve police officer, entered a guilty plea in February to an October 1986 rape so other charges in two other rapes would be dismissed against him.

But in early April, a serial rapist confessed to the same sexual assault, and Hartmann had to decide if he would ask that the plea-bargain agreement be set aside.

The other rapist, Blaine Nelson, 33, Ogden, is serving a 30-years-to- life prison sentence for four rapes he pleaded guilty to.
