A 38-year-old man was killed and two other swimmers were injured in two separate shark attacks near shore, the Florida Marine Patrol said Wednesday. John Martin was killed in an attack near the east jetty at St. Andrews State Park Tuesday. Dennis Hadden, 42, and his wife, Ann, 41, were treated for cuts and abrasions at Bay Medical Center before they were released Tuesday night. Michelle Rinkel of the Marine Patrol said after the two incidents, Panama City Beach Police asked all swimmers to leave the water, and an airplane was sent up to look for sharks. None were found.
