Elder David B. Haight of the Council of the Twelve of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was moved out of the thoracic, intensive-care unit Thursday afternoon and was in fair condition Friday at LDS Hospital.

Elder Haight, 82, underwent surgery Jan. 16 to repair an abdominal aortic aneurysm. The following day an operation was performed to remove blood clots.
