Salt Lake police Monday night stopped to question a man who was relieving himself in the area of 200 South and West Temple and discovered the man was wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident.
Police officer Craig Park arrested Arden C. "Ace" Post, 24.Post was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of hit-and-run.
Post is wanted in connection with the death of Laveda Stotts, 56, 145 S. 300 East, who was struck while walking across 200 South near 350 East on Nov. 5. The vehicle that struck her did not stop, police said.
