Douglas K. Christensen, former director of Physical Plant at Brigham Young University, has been appointed director of the Church Education System Capital Needs Analysis program. Scott Briggs is the new managing director of Physical Plant.
The appointments were announced by Ed Cozzens, assistant administrative vice president of the Physical Facilities Division.Christensen will be responsible for capital needs analysis at BYU, BYU-Hawaii Campus and Ricks College as well as for the Jerusalem and London Centers. He also will assist auxiliary areas in the development and operation of a capital needs analysis program.
Briggs is responsible for construction, building maintenance, utilities maintenance and engineering, grounds maintenance, custodial and transportation services.
