Natalia Zvereva, the top-ranked women's tennis player in the Soviet Union, Friday enlisted help from the Women's International Tennis Association and management company ProServ in an attempt to receive her tournament prize money.

The Soviet players' prize money has been paid directly to the Lawn Tennis Federation of the USSR. After defeating Martina Navratilova to advance to the final of a tournament at Hilton Head, S.C., last weekend, Zvereva said she wanted to keep her winnings.She and Larisa Savchenko, the second-highest ranked Soviet player, joined the WITA Friday.
