Lloyd Daniels, a star basketball prospect who sacrificed his career to drug and alcohol abuse, was critically wounded in a shooting that police called possibly drug-related. Daniels, 22, was in critical but stable condition after surgery at Mary Immaculate Hospital. He was shot three times, in the right chest, left chest and neck. Doctors said Daniels was conscious and able to walk.
