Gay Ebert has been installed as the new president of the Utah Pharmaceutical Association Auxiliary. The installation luncheon took place at Greene Gate Village in St. George as part of the 97th annual Utah Pharmaceutical Association convention.
Assisting the new president will be Sherrie Delost, first vice president, and Carrie Jolley, second vice president.Other new officers are Evelyn Call, recording secretary; Alice Esklund, treasurer; Laurel Bain, historian; Valeri Stewart, auditor.
Appointed officers are Cheryl Fortie, corresponding secretary, and Jerri Everett, parliamentarian. Dora Jeanne Elkinton will be editor of the auxiliary's newsletter, "The Capsulette."
Janet Wood is the group's immediate past president.
The Utah Pharmaceutical Association Auxiliary is a service organization that seeks to promote the profession of pharmacy and to serve the people of Utah by sponsoring service projects in the health field.
During the past year the auxiliary has given service through the Primary Children's Medical Center Festival of Trees and Camp UTADA for diabetic children. The group also has helped to support the publication of a pamphlet sponsored by the Utah Chapter for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
