When CBS-TV correspondent Harry Reasoner gives the commencement speech for the University of Minnesota's College of Liberal Arts, he will receive the journalism degree that eluded him for almost 40 years. Reasoner, 66, who grew up in Minneapolis, attended Stanford and Minnesota but never earned enough credits to receive a degree. But during the past few years, he received the credits he needed by submitting about a half-dozen classes worth of independent study to Minnesota's School of Journalism. His grades were not disclosed. "The oldest B.A. in the history of the University of Minnesota," Reasoner, who will receive his degree June 11, said by telephone from New York.
