The Washington Bullets have re-signed third-year player Mark Alarie to a multi-year contract, the team announced Friday.

Terms of the contract were not released.Alarie, who averaged 6.7 points and 3.4 rebounds a game during the 1988-89 season, scored a career-high 22 points in 27 minutes against Indiana in March.

Alarie was acquired from the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 2, 1987, along with Darrell Walker, in exchange for Jay Vincent and Michael Adams.
