Liza Minnelli was fined $1,900 for violating quarantine laws by bringing her cairn terrier into Sweden. Minnelli didn't have to show up in court Friday and had planned ahead by depositing some money in Sweden to cover the fine. She had brought her dog, Lilly, into the country on a car ferry from Denmark in April when she was on tour with the Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. Sweden's anti-rabies laws had previously kept Michael Jackson`s chimp, Bubbles, out.
