It wasn't easy taking Andre the Giant, the pro wrestling star, to jail after he was arrested for attacking a television cameraman in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Monday night. Andre, whose real name is Andre Roussimuff, was charged with assault and criminal mischief and causing $300 in damage to his camera. The incident started right after Andre had been pinned in less than a minute by the Ultimate Warrior and the police had trouble getting Andre, who stands more than 7 feet tall and weighs more than 500 pounds, in a squad car. "At first we didn't know if he could get in the back of the squad car," Police Capt. David Johnson said. "We were going to make arrangements to get a police van. We have trouble getting big guys in our patrol cars and he's quite a bit bigger than our normal big guy. We had to fit him into the car sideways." Andre told police he was angered because he didn't think the cameraman was authorized to film the match. He was released after posting a $1,285 bond.
