Changes are under way at ZCMI Center. Stores are expanding, moving to new spaces and two new tenants will be moving into the mall. The moves will precede major changes at the downtown mall to be announced next month.
Musicland has moved two doors to the west, allowing discount clothier Mr. Mac to expand.A new tenant is expected to sign a lease for space recently left vacant at the former Bakers Shoe Store, managers said, and a tenant with national exposure will be signed to move into the former Petries space, now used by Mr. Mac for overflow merchandise.
Disclosure of the names of the new tenants as well as other major changes in the 14-year-old ZCMI Center will be announced sometime next month.
