"Millenium" wins the "Dumb Plot of the Week" award, with its bizarre story of women in the burned-out future who go back in time to rescue passengers on doomed airliners and replace them with duplicate bodies.
Cheryl Ladd is one of these rescuers who meets up with airline crash investigator Kris Kristofferson and their true love crosses the barriers of time-travel.
So we see the the story first from his perspective, then from hers (what is this, sci-fi "Little Dorrit"?) as they babble about how they can't interfere with the past or future because it will cause some kind of holocaust - and then do so anyway.
If you wonder how Kristofferson and Ladd managed to sign up for a movie this idiotic, think about the other shows they've done.
This may be a step up.
The title is "Millennium," and indeed this movie feels like it goes on for 1,000 years.
