Born October 14, 1909 in Durango, Mexico. Married Josephine Sandoval Cortez in Colorado; later divorced. Married Bartola Benegas September 11, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Employed with the UP RR for 33 years. Member Catholic Church, St. Ann's Parish.Survived by wife, Salt Lake City; son, Vincent Lopez, Denver, Colo.; daughter, Mary A. Callas, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Antonio Lopez, El Paso, Tx.; sister, Elodia Rivera, Upland, Calif. Preceded in death by son, Ned and daughter, Catherine Lopez. Holy Rosary will be recited Monday, 10 a.m., St. Ann's Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, followed by Mass of Christian Burial.
