A Marketing Company and its marketing affiliate, Hal Gardiner & Associates, have won several honors in the annual Golden Spike Communications Awards sponsored by the Intermountain Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and the Utah Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators.
Gardiner won four Golden Spike Awards and three awards of merits for communication programs for the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City, US West/Small Business Administration marketing seminar, Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility, Ballet West and the company's own programs.Penna Powers Cutting & Haynes and Zabriskie & Associates won six awards each. Other major winners were the Summit Group, Children's Miracle Network, University of Utah, KUER/KUED, KBYU, Questar Corp., Public Relations Strategy Group and Fotheringham and Associates.
