Four new stakes have been created - three in Las Vegas, Nev., and one in Colorado.
Elder Marvin J. Ashton of the Council of the Twelve created the Las Vegas Nevada Lone Mountain, Las Vegas Nevada Sandstone, and Las Vegas Nevada Warm Springs stakes.The Las Vegas Nevada Lone Mountain Stake includes the Las Vegas 70th, Lone Mountain, Los Prados, Painted Desert, and Red Coach wards, and the Beatty and Indian Springs branches.
The Las Vegas Nevada Sandstone Stake consists of the Alta, El Camino, Evergreen, Harmony, Lindell, Potosi, and Willow Springs wards.
The Las Vegas Nevada Warm Springs Stake includes the Burmuda, Hacienda, Mountain View, Sunset, Tropicana, and Warm Springs wards.
Elder Ashton also created the Longmont Colorado Stake, which includes the Lafayette, and Longmont 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th wards.
Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in Colorado, Nevada, the Philippines, and Utah.
