The foreman of a jury that convicted a paroled child killer of slaying 10 women during a 22-month murder spree said jurors decided the man wasn't insane.

The Monroe County Court jury convicted Arthur J. Shawcross on Thursday of 10 counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of eight prostitutes and two other women between March 1988 and January 1990. He faces up to 25 years in prison on each count when he is sentenced Feb. 1.
