Alice Loynd Brown, age 82, our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, passed away February 8, 1990.
She was born July 4, 1907 in Springville, Utah to Joseph and Sarah Ann Briggs Loynd. On August 18, 1931 she married William David Samuel Brown in Salt Lake City, Utah. He preceded her in death on October 8, 1979. Alice was a member of the LDS Church and a longtime resident of Bingham Canyon and Copperton, Utah.Survivors: daughters, Sally Chapman, Copperton; Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Boettcher, Murray; grandchildren, Mrs. Dale (Lori) Searle, Robbie, David, Jon and Daniel Boettcher; great granddaughter, Matty Jeanne Searle; sisters, Mrs. Sadie Kendall, Heber City, Utah; Mrs. Beth Prothero, Springville; also loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 12, 1990 at 1:30 P.M. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel 8090 So. State St., Midvale, where friends may call Sunday 6-8 P.M. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
