Milo Leroy Dew, 68, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother died Thursday, February 8, 1990, after a courageous battle with a long illness.
He was born August 14, 1921, in Tooele, Utah to Samuel Phillip Dew and Edith Marian Barrus Dew. Married Virginia Wyatt Parrish, August 15, 1949, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served a mission for the LDS Church. A High Priest, he faithfully served in many callings for the church. Received an MS degree from USU in Logan, Utah and retired from the BLM. She was born August 28, 1922, in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia to Charles Hubbard Parrish and Otto Richter Bostic Parrish. Married Milo LeRoy Dew, August 15, 1949, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served a mission for the LDS Church. Served faithfully in many callings for the church. Worked as an LPN for Cottonwood Hospital for many years.
They are survived by their children, Charles P. Dew and wife, Pamela, Sandy; Larry N. Dew and wife, Jenny, Indianapolis, Indiana; Julie D. Price and husband, Robert, Murray; 11 grandchildren. Milo is survived by a brother, LaMar O. Dew and a sister, M. Maxine Ernst. Virginia is survived by a sister, Emily P. Scott and brothers, Donald M. Parrish, William G. Parrish, and Douglas M. Parrish.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 14, 1990, 12 noon, at the Murray 18th Ward, 5425 South 600 West, Murray, Utah. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, and Wednesday at the church one hour prior to service. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
