Larry Brandt Bell, age 51, died February 15, 1990 in Hurricane, Utah following a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

He was born February 7, 1939 in Davenport, Iowa to Howard and Emma Brandt Bell. Married Audrey Jean Anderson, October 1, 1960 in Marshalltown, Iowa. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Until his retirement in 1986 he was employed as an engineer for ASARCO in Salt Lake City. Following his retirment he moved, with his wife, to St. George. He was an active High Priest in the LDS Church, having served as Ward Clerk, Ward Executive Secretary, Sunday School Superintendent and many years in the Scout program.He is survived by wife, Audrey Jean Anderson Bell, Green Valley; son, Aaron, Santa Monica, California; daughters, Mrs. Kole (Dawn) Staheli, Washington, Utah; Mrs. Scott (Jennifer) DeWaal, Kauai, Hawaii; six grandchildren; mother, Emma Brandt Bell, Davenport, Iowa; brother, Harry Bell, Belvedere, Illinois; sister, Mrs. Wayne (Joanne) Linke, DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19, 1990 at 1 p.m., Green Valley 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 945 South Valley View Dr., St. George, Utah. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Spilsbury-Desert Rose Memorial Chapel, 58 No. 100 East, St. George, Utah and Monday at the Green Valley Chapel from 11:30 to 12:30. Interment: Washington City Cemetery under the direction of Spilsbury-Desert Rose Mortuary.
