Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and dear friend, Lynne Schooley Smith, 50, passed away January 31, 1990 of cancer. During the course of her illness, and even though she suffered excruciating setbacks, she never gave up the will to live and to love and touched the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
Born October 15, 1939 in Bountiful, Utah to LeRoy and Norma Terry Back. Married Stan Schooley. He died in 1977. Married Frank Smith October 7, 1988 in Elko, Nevada.She is survived by her husband, Frank Smith, Sandy; five children: Scott Schooley and his wife, Linda, West Valley City; Erin Schooley, Mill Valley, Calif.; Todd Schooley and his wife, Autumn, San Jose, Calif.; Michael Schooley, Sandy; Susann Schooley, Grand Junction, Colorado; a step-son, Scott Smith, Tucson, Arizona; three grandchildren, Shay and Sara Schooley, and Amber Schooley; her mother, Norma Back, Bountiful; a sister, Kathy Dalrymple, Centerville; two brothers, Wayne Back, Bountiful; Lenny Back, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by a brother, Michael Back and her father LeRoy Back.
Memorial services will be Saturday, February 3, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East. The family suggest contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 610 East South Temple, SLC., Ut 84102 or to the Primary Children's Medical Center, 320 East 12th Ave, SLC, Ut 84103.
