Minnie Christensen Rutishauser, 97, died February 27, 1990 in Nephi, Utah.
Born November 12, 1892, Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Charles Andrew and Jessemine Candland Christensen. Married Emil Rutishauser, Salt Lake LDS Temple, September 3, 1913. He died March 11, 1952. Always active in LDS Church, served as Relief Society President in the stake, was a visiting teacher, president of the YWMIA and Sunday School teacher. In 1961-62 served in the Alaskan-Canadian Mission. Faithful temple worker in both the Manti and Provo LDS Temples. She gave many book reviews to clubs throughout the county. Her exquisitely embroidered temple aprons and braided rugs are cherished by all who have them. Member DUP and Mt.Pleasant Historical Society.
Survived by son, James D. Rutishauser, Salt Lake City; daughter, Lucile Christensen, Moroni; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Alene Demske and son, Charles, who was killed in World War II.Funeral services March 2, 1 p.m., Mt.Pleasant Second Ward. Viewing one hour prior to services at ward chapel. Burial: Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Ursenbach Funeral Home.
