Our beloved mom, grandma, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully February 3, 1990 in Redmond, Washington.
Grace Janet Worthen West, born February 8, 1911 to George S. and Elizabeth Birrell Worthen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married George Elwood West on June 6, 1938. Worked for 19 years at J.C. Penney Company. Member of LDS Church.Survived by daughters, Mrs. Russell J. (Carolyn) Battaglia, Redmond, Washington; and Mrs. David H. (Sandra) Maxwell, Sandy, Utah; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Peter (Ivy) Kusyk, Bedford, Ohio; brother, George S. Worthen, Salt Lake City, Utah; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband; sisters, Elizabeth and Helen. She will be remembered for her courage, honesty, and her dedication to her family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m., February 8, 1990, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 So. Highland Dr., where friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, one hour prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
