Otis Alonzo Dickinson, Jr., 85, died March 10, 1990 at his home in Richfield.
Born November 16, 1904 in Panguitch, son of Otis Alonzo and Hannah Christine Nielson Dickinson. Married Hannah Mattie Haslam May 10, 1926 in Junction, Utah; solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple October 7, 1948. Very active in the LDS Church, High Priest in the Richfield 3rd Ward. He was very proud to have served a stake mission. Active in the Richfield Senior Citizens. He retired from the State Road after 25 years. He herded sheep on Fish Lake Mountain for many years.Survived by wife, Richfield; children, Sheldon and LaVona Dickinson, Buena Park, Calif.; Darline and Dean Payne, Salt Lake City; Eldon (deceased) and Agnes Dickinson, Richfield; Bonnie and Kent Gurr, McGill, Nev.; Alta and Lyndon Stoker, Richfield; Mary and Stephen Wanlass, Monroe; 31 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Eldon Dickinson, Moroni; Leo Dickinson, Joy Kennedy; Hope Stillman, all Salt Lake City; Clark Dickinson, Richfield; Mary Jane Jacobson, Elsinore, Ardell Dickinson, Washington. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Freeman Dickinson; Nellie Atkinson; Ellis Dickinson; Ione Singleton; and Calif Dickinson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 1990, 12 noon, in the Richfield 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, 985 South 400 West. Friends may call for viewing at Springer-Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 10-11:30 a.m. Burial, Richfield City Cemetery.
