Daisy L. Hayes, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away March 4, 1990 in Bountiful, Utah of a heart attack.

Born July 28, 1910 in Lake Point, Utah, to Joseph Yates Jr. and Nellie Garrard Yates. Married Raymond H. Hayes, January 4, 1930, in Farmington; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, December 17, 1930. Daisy and Raymond were married for 60 years. She devoted her life to serving others, especially her family. She was an avid crocheter and quilter. Primary teacher and faithful visiting teacher. She loved to play the organ.Survived by her husband, Raymond H., Bountiful; two sons and their wives, Raymond Y. and Charlotte Hayes, West Bountiful; M. Vern and Arlene Hayes, Bountiful; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers, Lillian Whitaker, Lucy Hollie and Harvey Yates, all of Bountiful; James Yates, San Diego, California. Preceded in death by two brothers, George and Nephi Yates.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m., Bountiful 21st Ward, 650 South 2nd East, Bountiful, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Estates Mortuary.
