Dearly loved by all who knew him, W. Steven Sproul, age 32, passed away quietly at his home, April 12, 1990, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. His love and testimony live on in the hearts of all those he inspired by his greatness.
Born January 24, 1958 in Salt Lake City to Faye Ann Crawley and Leonard Murry Sproul, Jr. He served an LDS mission to Scotland. Married Janet Wainwright in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, July 3, 1979. He was a graduate of the LDS Business College and the University of Utah. Employed by Harmans K.F.C. for 10 years.He is survived by his wife, Janet, and his children, Alisa, 7, and John, 5, who reside in Sandy; his mother, Faye Sisam; three brothers, Dale, Murry, and Chris Sisam; a sister, Mrs. Rick (Beverly) Williams; half-sister and brother, Melodie and Marty Sproul.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 16, 1990, at 12:00 noon, in the Granite 2nd Ward Chapel, 9245 South Quail Run Drive (2300 East), Sandy. Friends may call Sunday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and Monday at the Ward one hour prior to the service. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
