Post office customers learn about how mail will be sorted in the 1990s and beyond during a tour of a traveling Postal Service exhibit on display at the Salt Lake City Main Post Office, 1760 W. 2100 South. The exhibit is housed in a 45-foot-long tractor trailer and is touring the country to help inform mailers about automated mail processing and how to apply bar codes to letter-size mail. The exhibit began its tour in October 1989 and eventually will visit practically every large metropolitan area in the United States.
